Savage Health is a community oriented fitness studio locally owned and operated by Brianne Zanin (previously Savage). Growing up in Orofino as a fourth generation (born) Idahoan she is humbled to be able to live with her husband TJ (Zanin) and raise their children in the midst of one of the most pristine and beautiful places in the world. Growing up in a large family that chose to live, work, and play together brought excitement and lots of opportunities to see each other. This is the same feeling we want everyone to experience at Savage Health. 

 

Nezperce is a special place where so many childhood memories were made at her Grandparents home, John and Sarah Anne Savage. In addition to her own memories in Nezperce with family and friends she always enjoyed hearing the stories from her Grandma Savage about the Thompson and Harbke family's that homesteaded in Nezperce.  In more recent years Brianne has learned more about the other side of her family's roots in Nezperce. Her mother's father Russell Johnson grew up in Nezperce working on the family farm. His grandfather, Zephaniah (Z.A.) Johnson dedicated much of his time and resources to the development of the Nezperce community and business vitality.    Family members from both sides of her family have been active community members since the city was established and the area was homesteaded.
